IVANA DUVNJAK AKAMATSU & SHO AKAMATSU
ABOUT SHIVA
We are Ivana Duvnjak Akamatsu and Sho Akamatsu, two professional violinists based in Zagreb, Croatia.
As SHIVA Beyond Sound, we perform concerts internationally, create our own arrangements for two violins, and share our passion for music with violinists around the world.
Alongside our performing career, we are dedicated to violin education, helping students of different levels develop their technique, musicality, and confidence through our lessons and SHIVA Membership.
OUR VIDEO FOR
"THE LUDLOWS (Legends of the Fall)"
„Some people hear their own inner voices with great clearness and they live by what they hear. Such people become crazy, or they become... legends.“
With this famous quote, SHIVA Beyond Sound presents its second music video – The Ludlows Theme, beautifully composed by the late James Horner from the 1994 Oscar – Winning movie „Legends of the Fall“. In an arrangement for 2 violins, we tried to bring you a piece of the melancholy, hope and romantic atmosphere that surrounded the Ludlows family.
Sho Akamatsu – Violin I
Ivana Duvnjak – Violin II
